Man United star proud to make 100th Red Devils appearance
Ashley Young reflects on 100 Manchester United games
Ashley Young expressed his pride after the midfielder made his 100th Manchester United appearance in their 3-0 victory over Cambridge United on Tuesday night.
The England international was sidelined throughout January after the winger picked up a hamstring injury during a 1-1 draw with Stoke City on New Year’s Day.
However, the 29-year-old made his comeback against Cambridge as the former Aston Villa man replaced Marcos Rojo late in the second half.
Young’s cameo appearance marked a century of United games for the versatile midfielder, and the Red Devils star took to Twitter to reflect on the feat.
Good to be back on the pitch tonight and proud that it was my 100th @ManUtd appearance. On we go in the FA Cup!

Young has scored 11 goals in 98 appearances in all competitions for United following his £16m switch to Old Trafford from Aston Villa in 2011.
The United winger, who was named PFA young player of the year in 2009, helped Sir Alex Ferguson’s Red Devils side win the Premier League title in 2013.
