Moreno, Sakho and more: Liverpool stars react to Besiktas win
Alberto Moreno and Mamadou Sakho tweet their thoughts after Liverpool are 1-0 winners against Besiktas
Mario Balotelli scored a late penalty at Anfield as Liverpool were 1-0 winners against Beistkas in the first leg of their Capital One Cup last-32 tie on Thursday.
The Italy international took over spot-kick duty despite Jordan Henderson being named the designated penalty taker before the clash against the Turkish side in the absence of Steven Gerrard.
Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe was responsible for winning the 85th-minute spot-kick, and the England Under-21 international took to Twitter to reflect on a good win for the five-time European champions.

Meanwhile, former Chelsea striker Demba Ba, who missed a great first-half chance at Anfield, thanked the travelling Besiktas fans for their noisy support.
Demba Ba (@dembabafoot): “Have a safe trip back home bjk fans. Once again thank you so much. Love your unbelievable support.”
Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique heaped praise on 24-year-old Balotelli for his goal, whilst hailing the home side’s overall performance.
Jose Enrique (@Jesanchez3): “Great performance by the team and the most important 1-0 against a good team. Congratulations to @FinallyMario for his goal too.”
Liverpool centre-half Mamadou Sakho was pleased to keep Besiktas out ahead of the return leg in Turkey.
Glad that we win 1-0 against Besiktas on Anfield's field but also that we have not conceded any goal ! #YNWA pic.twitter.com/AMP7wsJ2fU
