Moreno, Sturridge and more: Liverpool stars react to FA Cup win

Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno reflect on Liverpool's 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in FA Cup

Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno revelled in their goal celebration at Selhurst Park after Liverpool were 2-1 winners against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup fifth round.

The Reds had to come from behind to book their place in the quarter-final draw after Palace striker Fraizer Campbell broke the deadlock in the 11th minute in south-east London.

Liverpool lost 3-1 at Selhurst Park in the Premier League earlier this season, but Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana turned the cup tie on its head to seal their progress.

Reds striker Sturridge has scored two goals in four games following his return from injury, and the England international enjoyed some fun with Moreno after his strike.

“What a result and great banter by my boy @amplfc18doing my dance. On to the next one on Thursday!!” Sturridge wrote.

The Liverpool left-back was quick to show off his dodgy dancing skills on Instagram, too, although perhaps the Spaniard should leave the goal celebrations to the professionals.

Moreno posted the above photo and wrote: “Great performance and great dance with my friend @dstudge jajajajajajaja #lfc #ynwa #smile #happy”

Liverpool vice-captain Jordan Henderson, who skippered the Reds in the absence of injured Steven Gerrard, heaped praise on the Merseyside outfit for their rousing comeback.

Henderson posted: “Get in!! Great character to comeback and win! On to the next round. Well done @dstudge and ads for the goals! Yes @amplfc18”

Finally, Reds playmaker Philippe Coutinho proves that there are some things more important than football.

Coutinho said: “Happy Valentine’s Day ❤”
