Oscar has welcomed Chelsea signing Juan Cuadrado to the “biggest club” in the world.

The Colombia international completed his much-anticipated £23.3m move to the Premier League leaders from Fiorentina on Monday evening.

Cuadrado has signed a four-and-a-half year deal with the west London side, calling time on a three-season stay in Florence.

Chelsea forward Oscar was quick to make his fellow South American feel at home following his Stamford Bridge switch.

Cuadrado has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League amid interest from Chelsea and Manchester United since last summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

The new Blues forward scored one goal and made four assists during his country’s run to the World Cup quarter-finals.

The former Udinese man continued his impressive form in Serie A this season, scoring four goals and making four assists in 17 top-flight appearances.

Andre Schurrle completed a return to the Bundesliga on deadline day, joining Wolfsburg.
