Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is raring to go ahead of the visit of Leicester
Alexis Sanchez is already gunning for Leicester City after the Arsenal forward posted a Gunners rallying cry on Instagram.
The Chile international didn’t feature in Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s north London derby due to a hamstring injury.
However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger confirmed that the 26-year-old is available to line up against the Foxes in Tuesday’s clash at The Emirates.
And the South American forward is eagerly-anticipating a return to first-team action judging by his Instagram post on Tuesday morning.
The Arsenal talisman posted the above photo to Instagram and wrote the following caption: “Buenos días Gunners … Good morning Gunners ⚽let’s go today”
Sanchez has scored 12 goals and has created seven assists in 21 Premier League appearances this season.
The former Udinese man has netted 16 times in all competitions following his £35m move to Arsenal from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
Sanchez scored against Leicester earlier this season, although the Gunners were unable to secure three points after Lenoardo Ulloa cancelled out the Chilean’s opener.
