Frank Lampard and Thierry Henry were pundits for Sky Sports on Wednesday night
Frank Lampard and Thierry Henry were all smiles as they posed for a picture during their coverage of the Champions League for Sky Sports on Wednesday night.
The former Chelsea midfielder, who now plies his trade at Manchester City, was a guest pundit alongside Henry during the coverage of Real Madrid’s win at Schalke in midweek.
The pair were fierce rivals on the pitch during their primes but looked to be in good spirits as they were reunited by the broadcaster.
Lampard posted the picture above on his official Facebook page and wrote: “Great to see the legend Thierry Henry again at tonight’s Sky Sports Champions League coverage.”
Lampard, 36, has made 19 Premier League appearances for City so far this season but only three of those have been starts. His last goal for the defending champions came during the 3-2 win over Sunderland on New Year’s Day.
Henry, meanwhile, opted to hang up his playing boots last year and has been signed as a pundit by Sky Sports.
