Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain admits that he can't wait to be back in action for Arsenal

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has taken to social media to admit that he cannot wait to be back playing for Arsenal.

The England international is currently sidelined with a groin injury and has not featured for the Gunners since the 2-0 win over Manchester City last month.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is expected to make his return to action in the coming days, and the midfielder is clearly desperate to be back playing for the north London club.

He posted the picture above on his Instagram account on Wednesday evening and wrote: “Can’t wait to get back on the pitch.”

The 21-year-old has made 16 Premier League starts for Arsenal so far this season and has also made five appearances from the bench.

He has scored once in the league and also netted once in the Champions League group stage.
