Mesut Ozil reflects on Arsenal's 5-0 victory over Aston Villa
Mesut Ozil was left with a lasting feeling of satisfaction after Arsenal’s 5-0 victory over Aston Villa at The Emirates on Sunday.
The Germany international teed up Olivier Giroud for the opener before the 26-year-old playmaker notched his second goal of the season in the 56th minute.
Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla and Hector Bellerin all bagged second-half strikes as the Gunners wrapped up an emphatic victory in north London.
Ozil, who made his return from a serious knee injury last month, couldn’t hide his delight with the performance of Arsene Wenger’s men.

The World Cup winner made his return from injury against Stoke City on 11 January after the midfielder was sidelined for three months with a knee problem.
Ozil has scored two goals and has made two assists in nine Premier League appearances this season.
The Germany international completed a club-record £42.5m move to Arsenal from Real Madrid in August 2013, winning the FA Cup in his first season at The Emirates.
