Cesc Fabregas pays tribute to Mohamed Salah
Cesc Fabregas has taken to Instagram to wish Mohamed Salah all the best after the Chelsea midfielder joined Fiorentina on loan.
The Egypt international completed a move to the Florence outfit until the end of the season after Fiorentina midfielder Juan Cuadrado finally completed a £23.3m switch to Chelsea.
Salah has been out-of-favour under Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho for much of the season, making just three substitute appearances and racking up 30 minutes of top-flight football.
Chelsea midfielder Fabregas, who moved to the west London side from Barcelona in the summer, was quick to wish the versatile African midfielder good luck in Serie A.
Fabregas posted the above photo and wrote on Instagram: “Goodluck habibi @mosalah22 in Florence. See you soon.”
Salah opted to join Chelsea ahead of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur last January.
The 22-year-old became the first Egyptian to play for Chelsea after his £11m switch.
The winger scored two goals in 13 Premier League appearances for the league leaders.
