Erik Lamela is a happy man after Saturday's derby win over Arsenal at White Hart Lane

Erik Lamela took to social media to express his delight at helping Tottenham Hotspur seal a 2-1 north London derby victory over Arsenal on Saturday.

Arsenal took lead in the 11th minute at White Hart Lane when Mesut Ozil finished off an Arsenal counter-attack.

But Spurs drew level in the second half when the in-form Harry Kane tapped home from close range in the 56th minute after David Ospina could only parry from a corner.

And man-of-the-match Kane then secured the three points with a superb header past Ospina four minutes from time to hand the home side victory in a pulsating derby game which Tottenham dominated.

Lamela played the full 90 minutes as Mauricio Pochettino’s men leapfrogged Arsenal into fourth place in the Premier League table.
