Hector Bellerin is delighted that Arsenal are in FA Cup quarter-final draw
Hector Bellerin may have been left out of the starting line-up at The Emirates on Sunday, but the defender was still thrilled to see Arsenal win 2-0 against Middlesbrough.
Gunners striker Olivier Giroud scored a quick-fire double in the 27th and 29th minute to secure the north London side’s place in Monday night’s FA Cup quarter-final draw.
Bellerin was dropped for the visit of Middlesbrough as Calum Chambers started at right-back, whilst January signing Gabriel Paulista joined Laurent Koscielny at centre-half.
But Bellerin was quick to take to Instagram to congratulate his team-mates on their win despite the disappointment of missing out on first-team action in the FA Cup.
“Pic from training yesterday! Happy for the team to be in the next round!! #COYG #FACup” Bellerin wrote on Instagram.
The Spanish full-back has been in impressive form for Arsene Wenger’s side in recent weeks, starting the north London club’s last five Premier League games.
