The Arsenal midfielder cannot wait to make his comeback for the north London club
Jack Wilshere took to social media on Friday afternoon to reveal his delight at returning to Arsenal training recent days.
The England midfielder has not featured since November after suffering an ankle injury during the 2-1 defeat by Manchester United and requiring surgery.
However, the 23-year-old is now back in full training ahead of schedule and could be set to make his comeback during Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Wilshere is clearly thrilled to be on the brink of a return and used his Instagram account to share his delight with his followers.
He posted the picture above on the photo-sharing app on Friday afternoon and wrote: “Think it’s fair to say I’m happy to be back.”
Wilshere has scored one goal and made one assist in nine Premier League games for Arsenal so far this season. He also featured three times in the Champions League group stage.
