John Terry choreographs a pile on after Willian's late winner against Everton
John Terry has hailed Chelsea’s “great spirit” after their dramatic 1-0 victory over Everton on Wednesday night.
One of the many banners devoted to John Terry at Stamford Bridge reads: JT, captain, leader, legend.
While people may have varying opinions on what the fourth word in this row should be, his latest Instagram post suggests it should be ringleader.
Terry has received much derision for attending the Champions League and Europa League finals with his kit, despite being unable to play.
However, the image adorning his social media page suggests Terry just loves a good old knees up – seemingly orchestrating the celebrations of Willian’s late winner.
The simple bundle – often seen in school playgrounds consisting of rambunctious youths – was choreographed majestically by Chelsea’s captain.
Like the army general ordering paratroopers from the fuselage in mid-air, the 34-year-old from Barking appears to bark orders to Ramires about when the Brazilian could participate in the Blues bundle.
Terry posted the above photo and wrote: “Bundle. Massive 3 points last night and great spirit from the boys.”
One must cut him some slack though as Chelsea maintained their seven point lead at the top of the table; at least the picture proves he was playing.
