Valentine’s Day may have come and gone this year, but Liverpool defender Jose Enrique is still as romantic as ever judging by Instagram.

The Spanish defender has been no stranger to a loved-up post or two on the photo-sharing app with his long-term girlfriend Amy Jaine over the past 12 months or so.

His partner, too, has a penchant for posting a romantic snap on her page, and Jaine uploaded a photo of the pair enjoying a cinema and dinner date night.

However, Enrique’s missus was keen to stress that she devoured a calorie-filled dessert, just in case manager Brendan Rodgers should venture onto Instagram.

Jaine wrote: “Dinner date and Cinema with the hub ❤️ yes i did eat this Dessert all to myself! ;) Thanks @sancarlogroup”

Enrique, who moved to Liverpool from Newcastle United in 2011m, is currently working on his fitness after his latest knee problem.
