Adnan Januzaj declared that he was happy with a “good win” after Manchester United edged to a 3-1 victory over Leicester City on Saturday.

Louis van Gaal’s side were seeking revenge for a 5-3 reversal at King Power Stadium earlier this season, and Blind teed up Robin van Persie to break the deadlock in the 27th minute.

Colombia international Radamel Falcao, who was starting alongside the Dutch forward, added a second minutes later after he pounced on a loose ball following Angel di Maria’s effort.

Leicester defender Wes Morgan headed into his own net to give United a 3-0 half-time lead, before Marcin Wasilewski bagged a late consolation goal for the promoted side.

And United winger Januzaj, who was handed a rare starting spot ahead of Juan Mata at Old Trafford, praised the 20-time English champions’ for a comfortable victory.

Januzaj wrote on Instagram: “Good win today”

United hoisted themselves above Southampton and into third place in the Premier League table ahead of the Saints’ clash against Swansea on Sunday.
