Harry Kane looked pleased to scoop the January Premier League player of the month award

Harry Kane was all smiles as he posed for a picture with his Premier League player of the month award for January.

The Tottenham striker continued his stunning start to the season with another impressive month in action for the north London club.

Kane scored five goals in January, including two strikes in the thrilling 5-3 win over Chelsea at White Hart Lane.

And he looked to be delighted with the gong as he picked it up at Tottenham’s training ground on Friday.

Kane shared the photo above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Barclays Player of the Month.”

The 21-year-old has scored a total of 23 goals for Spurs in all competitions and is widely tipped to received his first call-up to the senior England squad next month.

It is the first time that Kane has won the top-flight’s player of the month prize.

Tottenham’s next game is a home clash with West Ham United on 22 February.
