Chelsea train at Cobham ahead of their Champions League last-16 first-leg clash with Paris Saint-Germain

Cesc Fabregas looked in good spirits as Chelsea trained ahead of the first leg of their Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain this week.

Jose Mourinho’s men were put through their paces at the Blues’ Cobham training base on Monday morning as they geared up for the the first leg of their last-16 tie at Parc des Princes on Tuesday night.

Fabregas, out since 27 January with a hamstring injury, returned as a substitute in the 1-0 Premier League win over Everton on 11 February.

Also pictured training with their team-mates was Eden Hazard, who last week signed a new five-and-a-half year contract with the west London club.

Chelsea are looking to reach a fourth Champions League quarter-final in five years, and a seventh in the last nine campaigns.

The west Londoners won their group for the ninth time in their last 12 campaigns, finishing as runners-up twice more in that period.

Filipe Luis, who picked up two yellow cards in the group stage and is a booking away from a ban, was also all smiles on Monday morning.

Here are some of the best pictures from Chelsea’s training session at Cobham.
