Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil were among the Arsenal players to take to social media after Tuesday night’s nervy 2-1 win over Leicester City at Emirates Stadium.

Laurent Koscielny and Walcott fired Arsenal into a 2-0 lead at half-time at Emirates Stadium, but City rallied after the break and Andrej Kramaric netted just after the hour-mark to set up a tense finale in north London.

However, the Gunners held on to move back into fourth place in the Premier League table.

And Walcott, who has now scored three goals in his last four games, took to his Instagram account on Tuesday night to post the picture above and wrote: “Great battle for the 3 points and happy to get my 3rd goal in 3. #afc #SpeedMatters.”

Ozil, meanwhile, shared the photo below on his own account and wrote: “Quite an unnecessary thrill after the 2:0 lead. But in the end we got the three points – that’s all that counts! #YaGunnersYa #AFCvLCFC #Arsenal #AFC #Mesut #Ozil”

Arsenal’s next game is a home clash with Middlesbrough in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon. They then travel to Crystal Palace in the Premier League, before their Champions League last-16 tie with Monaco.
