Arsenal train ahead of their Premier League clash with Leicester City at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday

Alexis Sanchez looked happy to be back in Arsenal training as the Gunners were put through their paces ahead of Tuesday night’s Premier League clash with Leicester City.

The Chile international missed Saturday’s disappointing 2-1 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby due to a hamstring injury but manager Arsene Wenger confirmed on Monday morning that the 26-year-old is available for selection again.

Arsenal have also been boosted by the news that midfielder Jack Wilshere has returned to full training this week.

The England international has not featured for the Gunners since November after suffering an ankle injury during the 2-1 loss to Manchester United and requiring surgery.

However, Wilshere was all smiles as he trained with his team-mates ahead of Tuesday night’s clash with City at Emirates Stadium.

Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil were among the other players in action as Wenger’s side look to bounce back from their derby defeat.

Here are some of the best pictures from Monday morning’s session.
