Daniel Sturridge looked to be in good spirits as Liverpool trained at Melwood on Monday ahead of their FA Cup fourth-round replay against Bolton Wanderers on

The England international enjoyed an impressive return to action on Saturday as he came off the bench to score Liverpool’s second goal in the 2-0 win over West Ham United at Anfield.

The 25-year-old’s last appearance for the Reds came back in August, with the forward suffering a long and frustrating spell on the sidelines with thigh and calf injuries.

However, the forward looked to be enjoying himself in training on Monday as he posed for a picture with team-mate Jordan Ibe ahead of the Reds’ FA Cup clash at Bolton on Tuesday night.

Also pictured in action during the session on Monday were striker Fabio Borini and goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. Captain Steven Gerrard was also on the pitches as Brendan Rodgers’ men were put through their paces.
