Radamel Falcao’s agent aims fresh dig at Man United boss
Radamel Falcao's agent says the striker would be performing better under Sir Alex Ferguson's guidance
Radamel Falcao’s agent has fuelled reports linking the striker with a move away from Manchester United in the summer by claiming that he would be performing better under Sir Alex Ferguson than Louis van Gaal.
The Colombia international was thought to be keen on making his season-long loan move from Monaco permanent in the summer but the striker has been linked with an Old Trafford exit in recent weeks.
Now, the 29-year-old’s agent Jorge Mendes has aimed a dig at current Old Trafford boss Van Gaal by suggesting that the Dutchman is not getting the best out of the striker.
Agent Mendes told ESPN: “He didn’t make a mistake when he chose Monaco. He is a champion. I miss Ferguson at Manchester United. With him and this squad the situation would be different.
“I know that if they give Falcao five complete matches, I am convinced that he would score goals in practically all of those matches.”
Falcao has scored four goals and made four assists in 16 Premier League games for United so far this season.
