Tottenham don’t know Harry Kane’s limits, says Hugo Lloris
Hugo Lloris runs the rule on Spurs striker Harry Kane
Hugo Lloris reckons there is even more to come from Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The 21-year-old forward continued his fine goal-scoring form with a strike at Anfield on Tuesday night as the north London side lost 3-2 to top-four rivals Liverpool.
Kane has netted five times and has made two assists in his last four Premier League games, taking his tally 13 goals in 21 top-flight appearances.
Speaking to Tottenham’s website, France international Lloris praised England Under-21 international’s work ethic.
“That’s easy, it’s step by step with Harry, but we don’t know where his limit is.
“It’s the same as Christian Eriksen, he’s got the talent and he works so hard every day. He works for the team first and then after that, he thinks about himself. That’s very important.
“There is a great spirit here and you can feel it every day, both on and off the pitch.
“You feel more comfortable in a game because you know as a team, we are ready to fight and to be aggressive and that starts at the front with talented players like Harry, Christian, Erik Lamela, Nacer and Andros.
“This is the key of what we want in the team.”
Kane was rewarded for his fine form with a new five-and-a-half year Tottenham contract earlier this month.
Days later, the Spurs striker scored twice in the second half of the north London derby to cancel out Mesut Ozil’s opener and seal a 2-1 win against Arsenal.
The boyhood Spurs supporter has scored 21 goals in 33 appearances in all competitions this term.
