The 25-year-old is set to line up against Arsenal in the first leg of Monaco’s Champions League last-16 clash with the Gunners at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.
Arsenal have previously been credited with an interest in bringing the Tunisian defender to the club.
However, Abdennour himself has now confirmed that their north London rivals have expressed an interest in luring the defender to White Hart Lane.
Asked if he was away of Spurs’ interest in signing him, Abdennour is quotes as saying by Metro: “Yes, I am aware of it. But I am at Monaco and I am concentrating on my club.”
And when pressed further about whether he would be keen on a switch to White Hart Lane, the defender responded: “Why not? Right now I have to be patient.
“Things will happen naturally. I am not going to put any pressure on myself because I am very happy at Monaco.”
Abdennour has made 10 Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco so far this season.
Spurs are gearing up for their League Cup final clash with Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday afternoon as Mauricio Pocettino looks to win his first piece of silverware as Tottenham boss.
