Watch Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere step up his rehabilitation from injury
The Arsenal midfielder has been stepping up his rehabilitation from injury
Jack Wilshere looks to be well on the road to recovery as the Arsenal midfielder continues his rehabilitation from ankle surgery.
The 23-year-old has not featured for the Gunners since November after sustaining ankle ligament damage during the Premier League defeat by Manchester United and going under the knife shortly after.
Wilshere is now closing in on a return to first-team action and manager Arsene Wenger revealed on Thursday that the midfielder is on course to return to full training next week.
And Wilshere took to his Instagram account to share a video of himself taking part in a private training session as he bids to return to full fitness.
He shared the video and photos above on Thursday evening and wrote: “Worry about your character not your reputation, because your character is who you are and your reputation is only what people who don’t know you think about you! Great session today with @jamie_velocity.”
Wilshere has scored one goal and made one assist in nine Premier League games this season.
Arsenal head into this weekend’s north London derby clash with Tottenham Hotspur fifth in the Premier League table and 11 points behind leaders Chelsea.
