Andy Murray is planning to work with Jonas Bjorkman during the next month with a view to him joining his coaching team on a full-time basis, according to reports.

BBC Sport is reporting that the Scot is considering adding the Swede to work alongside Amelie Mauresmo.

Speaking about his coaching situation last weekend, Murray said: “After the Aussie Open, I spent the next three or four weeks with no coach and I feel that’s something I need to get sorted.

“I feel like there are some things I need to continue to work on all the time. When I don’t have someone there with me it’s a little bit harder to do that.

“For me, it’s better to have someone around, so I’ll try to make sure I do that for the clay-court season. That’s high on my list of priorities.”
