Reports in the British newspapers on Friday claimed that Brendan Rodgers considers Walcott to be a potential replacement for Raheem Sterling should the youngster not renew his contract at Anfield.
Walcott’s future at Arsenal has been thrown into doubt in recent weeks, with the England international reportedly looking for a significant increase in his £90,000-a-week wages.
Liverpool are said to be keeping tabs on the 26-year-old’s situation, with 15 months left to run on his current Arsenal contract.
And former Arsenal striker Wright used his Twitter account to voice his concerns about the prospect of Walcott leaving Arsenal to join Liverpool.
Woah woah woah man !!!! What's all this talk about Theo going to Liverpool !

Walcott has scored two goals in eight Premier League games for Arsenal so far this season and will be expecting to feature during Saturday’s clash at Newcastle United.
