Arsenal transfers: Aleksandar Dragovic talks up Gunners move
Aleksandar Dragovic admits he is flattered to be linked with Manchester United and Arsenal
Aleksandar Dragovic has fuelled the speculation linking him with a summer transfer to Arsenal by admitting that he is flattered to be touted as a possible target for the north London club.
The Austrian centre-half has long been named as a possible target for the Gunners as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his defensive options at Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are reported to be weighing up a potential summer bid for the Dynamo Kyiv defender as Wenger aims to transform his side into genuine Premier League title contenders next season.
Dragovic has also been linked with a potential move to Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Manchester United.
And the defender admits that he has been delighted to hear his name linked with two of English football’s top clubs.
Speaking to Die Presse, Dragovic said: “I would be lying if I said it is not something buzzing around in the back of my head. Such a thing I cannot leave cold.
“But as long as no concrete offer is on the table, I do not need to deal with it in more detail.
“I dare to say that I could be in each team (Arsenal and United) and at the same time have a lot of room for improvement. That gives me courage.”
