Dynamo Kyiv boss Sergei Rebrov has issued Arsenal with a hands-off warning as the Gunners continue to be linked with a swoop for Aleksandar Dragovic.

The Austrian centre-half has long been touted as a possible target for the north London club as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his defensive options at Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are reported to be weighing up a potential summer bid for the Dynamo Kyiv defender as Wenger aims to transform his side into genuine Premier League title contenders next season.

However, Rebrov says that he is determined to keep the 24-year-old at the club.

Speaking at a news conference ahead of Dynamo Kyiv’s Europa League clash with Everton on Wednesday, Rebrov said: “You are asking about one of the best players in my team and I don’t want to lose this player.

“He is a top-class player and I hope he will stay with us.”

Arsenal return to action in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon when they host West Ham United at Emirates Stadium. The Gunners head into the game on the back of their FA Cup quarter-final win over Manchester United.
