Chadli and more: Twitter reacts as Tottenham’s Kane scores on England debut
Nacer Chadli and Luke Shaw tweet their thoughts after Harry Kane scores on his England debut
Harry Kane scored inside 80 seconds of his England debut as the Three Lions were 4-0 winners against Lithuania at Wembley on Friday night.
The Spurs striker was a second-half substitute as the 21-year-old replaced captain Wayne Rooney, who had earlier scored the opener against their Group E opponents.
Kane guided a close-range header into the net after Danny Welbeck and Raheem Sterling had added second and third goals for the hosts in their Euro 2016 qualifier.
Here is a selection of the best Twitter reaction from the professionals, past and present, in chronological order to England’s emphatic win.
