Micah Richards has refused to rule out a return to the Premier League amid reported interest from Liverpool.

The England international has endured a stop-start season at Fiorentina after he joined the Florence club on a temporary loan from Manchester City last summer.

The 26-year-old centre-half has made just seven Serie A appearances, racking up a mere 320 minutes of top-flight action for La Viola.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with a swoop for the versatile defender in the summer, and Richard is open to a return to the Premier League.

Richards told talkSPORT: “It’s difficult to say where I will play at the moment.

“Everyone wants to play in the Premier League, it’s still the best league in the world and the most entertaining.

“I just want to go somewhere where I’m going to play the most.”

The 26-year-old scored six goals in 179 Premier League appearances for the Citizens after the defender made his debut against Arsenal in 2005.

Richard won the Premier League and the FA Cup during his nine-year stay at the Eastlands outfit before he moved to Fiorentina last summer.
