Mario Balotelli took to social media on Tuesday night to launch a bizarre angry attack on the Liverpool striker’s critics.

The Italy international was left out of the Liverpool squad for Monday night’s 1-0 win at Swansea City due to illness and has failed to find consistent form for the Reds since his £16m transfer from AC Milan last summer.

It appears that the forward has had enough of the criticism aimed his way since his switch to Anfield.

The striker posted the video above on his Instagram account on Tuesday, and wrote: “For those with an easy judge without knowing s*** about others. Good night. #idowhatiwant-remember!”

During the clip, Balotelli says: “Do you know me? Did you ever talk to me, personally? Do you know what I’ve been through in my life? You just saw me play football on the pitch. Man, shut up.”

The 24-year-old striker has scored two goals in his last five games for Brendan Rodgers’ men so far this season.

His last appearance came from the bench during the goalless FA Cup draw with Blackburn Rovers earlier this month.

Balotelli has scored a total of three goals this term from his 21 appearances in all competition.
