Man United transfers: Radamel Falcao discusses his Old Trafford future
Radamel Falcao says he has 'faith' about his Manchester United future beyond the summer
Radamel Falcao says that he “has faith” that he could extend his loan spell at Manchester United beyond the end of the season.
The Colombia international’s future has been a source of speculation in recent weeks due to his stuttering form for the Red Devils since moving to Old Trafford from Monaco on a season-long deal.
Falcao has managed to score only four goals in 19 games in all competitions for Louis van Gaal’s side this term, leading to reports that he could be ushered out of the club at the end of the season.
However, the striker has underlined his desire to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
Asked whether he is going to extend his stay at Manchester United beyond this season, Falcao is quoted as saying by Goal: “I have faith about that and when the season finishes I am going to sit down and think about my future and what is the best for my career.”
The 29-year-old forward will be hoping to feature when Manchester United host Aston Villa in the Premier League next weekend.
