Phil Jones has picked Chelsea duo John Terry and Cesc Fabregas as the best players the Manchester United defender has ever faced.

Jones has faced Chelsea numerous times in his career since his transfer to Old Trafford from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2011.

The England international missed out when the two sides drew 1-1 in the Premier League earlier this season.

When asked who the best passer he has come up against is, Jones told Manchester United’s website: “Cesc Fabregas.”

And quizzed as to who is toughest tackler he faced, Jones chose another Chelsea man, replying: “JT [John Terry].”

United return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon when they host Aston Villa at Old Trafford.
