Cesc Fabregas took to social media on Sunday afternoon to post a soppy picture of himself and his partner as they celebrated their anniversary.

The Chelsea midfielder and his Blues team-mates have been enjoying a rare weekend off ahead of their crunch Champions League last-16 clash with Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

And the 27-year-old found some time on Sunday to pay tribute to his other half, Daniella Semaan, by posting a picture of the couple together.

Fabregas shared the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Another year next to you… I love you so much @daniellasemaan7.”

Semaan returned the favour by uploading the shot below of the couple herself, and adding: “Crazy in love with a man who loves, respects and appreciates all of me. You are simply one of your kind #eresunico#felizaniversarioamordemivida #CD @cescf4bregas.”

The couple have a daughter together, Lia, who was born in April 2013.

Fabregas has been in fine form since joining Chelsea from Barcelona last summer. He has scored two goals and made 15 assists in 24 games to help Jose Mourinho’s men top the Premier League table.
