Mesut Ozil took to social media on Saturday morning to issue an Arsenal rallying cry ahead of the Gunners’ clash with West Ham United at Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners host the Hammers knowing that victory in north London would move them to within one point of second-placed Manchester City ahead of the Citizens’ clash with Burnley on Saturday.

And Ozil is clearly looking forward to the game, as he posted the picture above on himself in Arsenal training on his Instagram account.

Ozil shared the photo and wrote: “Matchday!! #YaGunnersYa #AFCvWHU #Arsenal #London”

Ozil has scored three goals and made five assists in 13 Premier League games for Arsene Wenger’s men so far this season.

The Germany international played the full 90 minutes as Arsenal booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win at Manchester United last week.

Ozil has made four assists and scored three goals in his last 10 games in all competitions.
