Radamel Falcao and Angel di Maria looked focused as Manchester United trained on Friday morning ahead of their Premier League showdown with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

The Red Devils head to Merseyside looking for a victory to keep up their bid for Champions League qualification via a top-four finish.

Falcao will be desperate for a chance to prove himself on the big stage after a series of disappointing performances for Louis van Gaal’s side.

Di Maria, meanwhile, will also be looking to impress after missing last weekend’s 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur due to suspension.

The pair looked ready for the challenge of facing Brendan Rodgers’ men as Van Gaal’s men were put through their paces at United’s Carrington training ground on Friday morning.

United are currently fourth in the Premier League table but just a point behind second-placed Manchester City.

Here are some of the best pictures from Friday morning’s training session.
