The Spain international was linked with a move to the north London club before the 22-year-old completed a switch to Juventus last summer.
Morata has impressed for the Serie A champions despite his relative inexperience, scoring seven goals in 22 top-flight games in Italy.
Cazorla, who has been one of Arsenal’s standout performers this season, revealed that the Spain squad have congratulated the striker on his form.
“[Alvaro] Morata’s the future of Spain. He’s doing well at Juve and we’ve all already congratulated him [for his goal],” Cazorla is quoted as saying after Spain’s win.
Morata completed a move to the Turin outfit last summer after he was deemed surplus to requirements at Champions League holders Real Madrid.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for a striker in the summer as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his attacking options.
Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is another name who has been linked with a switch to the FA Cup winners.
