A shaky start to the season effectively ended Arsenal’s hopes of challenging for the Premier League title as Chelsea raced clear at the top of the table.

But after recovering from what Arsene Wenger has described as a “World Cup hangover”, the north London side have been in good form since the turn of the year.

The Gunners moved to within one point of second-placed Manchester City on Saturday thanks to a 3-0 win over West Ham United at Emirates Stadium.

That victory kept the north London side in third place in the table, with the Gunners now having won their last eight games at The Emirates in the Premier League.

That is the best home record of any of the Premier League’s top six teams, with Wenger’s men having taken a maximum 24 points from their last eight games in north London.

Five of Arsenal’s nine remaining Premier League games are at home, with leaders Chelsea and top-four chasing Liverpool still to travel to The Emirates.
