Daniel Sturridge and Dejan Lovren were among the Liverpool players to take to social media to celebrate Wednesday night’s 2-0 win over Burnley.

Jordan Henderson continued his good recent form when he fired the Reds in front at Anfield in the 29th minute.

The midfielder then turned provider for Daniel Sturridge, who headed home in the 51th minute on his return to Rodgers’ starting line-up.

The win put Liverpool in fifth place in the Premier League table but just two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United heading into the final 10 games of the season.

And Sturridge was clearly delighted to be back amongst the goals, as he shared the photo above on his Instagram account and wrote: @liverpoolfc the team… #redordead #ynwa Another big game at the weekend.”

Dejan Lovren, meanwhile, snapped the selfie below and added: Good win tonight…3 points…keep working lads well done.”

And Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard also praised the Reds’ performance as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. Gerrard shared the photo below and wrote: “Comfortable win for the lads. congrats to @jhenderson @dstudge for the goals”
