Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina looks to impress Gunners manager Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger may have hinted he will restore Wojciech Szczesny to the starting line-up against Manchester United at Old Trafford, but Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina was still attempting to impress his manager on Sunday afternoon.

The Arsenal boss told his media conference at London Colney on Friday morning that Szczesny will start the FA Cup quarter-final if the Poland international is passed fit by the club’s medical staff.

While Ospina has performed reasonably well after the Colombian replaced Szczesny in the Arsenal goal over the past two months, Wenger hinted that the Pole’s big-game experience could work in his favour.

However, the Arsenal number two, who moved to The Emirates from Nice last summer, certainly looked sharp in training on Sunday afternoon ahead of tomorrow’s FA Cup quarter-final at Manchester United.

Ospina posted the above video on Instagram and wrote: “Training today”.

Arsenal are looking to end a 10-game winless run at Old Trafford as Wenger’s side look to defend their FA Cup crown.
