Tomas Rosicky could be back available to feature for Arsenal for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Newcastle, Arsene Wenger has revealed.

The Czech midfielder has missed Arsenal’s last three games due to illness but could return for Saturday’s clash at St James’ Park, Wenger confirmed at his pre-match news conference on Thursday morning.

Wenger also revealed that Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Debuchy are still at least three weeks away from a return to the first team.

Arteta has been out of action for more than three months due to a calf injury.

Debuchy, meanwhile, has been sidelined since early January after suffering a dislocated shoulder.

Arsenal head to Newcastle on the back of their Champions League exit at the hands of Monaco on Tuesday night.

The Gunners are in good domestic form, however, having won eight of their last 10 Premier League games. Arsene Wenger’s men are currently third in the Premier League table.
