Arsenal have a lot to look forward to, declares Ian Wright

Arsenal legend Ian Wright is feeling optimistic about the north London side's future

Arsenal have a lot to look forward to next season, Ian Wright has declared.

The Gunners managed to avoid defeat by their bitter rivals Chelsea as Arsene Wenger’s side were held to a goalless draw by the Premier League leaders at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The north London side remain 10 points behind the Premier League leaders but the Gunners are level on points with second-placed Manchester City with five games remaining.

With a FA Cup final against Aston Villa to look forward to next month, Arsenal legend Wright was feeling optimistic about his former side’s prospects heading into the summer.

Wright told BBC Sport: “It’s one of the best season’s @Arsenal have had for many years. There’s so much to look forward to.”

Arsenal booked their place in successive FA Cup finals after Alexis Sanchez scored a brace in a 2-1 extra-time victory over Reading earlier this month.

The Gunners face Hull City, Swansea, Manchester United, Sunderland and West Brom in their remaining five Premier League games.
