Chelsea transfers: Eden Hazard has not plans to quit Blues
PFA player and young player of the year Eden Hazard insists he is happy at Premier League leaders Chelsea
Eden Hazard insists that he is happy at Chelsea ahead of their clash against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
The Blues forward has scored 13 goals in 31 Premier League games this season, including the winner in a 1-0 victory over Manchester United last weekend.
Hazard is the leading contender to win the PFA player and young player of the year awards on Sunday night after an influential season in Jose Mourinho’s side.
The Belgium international signed a new long-term deal in April which ended speculation surrounding a move to cash-rich Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the west London side’s clash against Arsenal, Hazard was keen to stress his continued happiness at Stamford Bridge.
“Why not?” Hazard said. “I am happy here.
“I play with big players and the most important thing is I want to win trophies and with this club, it is possible.”
Hazard, who moved to Chelsea from Lille in 2012, has made eight assists for his team-mates in the current Premier League campaign.
Chelsea can move 13 points clear of second-placed Arsenal if the Premier League leaders can secure victory at Emirates Stadium.
The Blues were crowned League Cup winners earlier this season after a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.
