Didier Drogba sends warning to Man United ahead of Chelsea trip

Didier Drogba warns Manchester United that Chelsea will do 'everything' to try and beat them next weekend

Didier Drogba has warned Manchester United that Chelsea “will do everything” to beat the Red Devils next weekend.

Louis van Gaal’s side head to Stamford Bridge in good form after having secured victories over Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City in recent weeks.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are aiming for a victory as they look to take a step closer towards winning their first Premier League title since 2010.

And Drogba says that Jose Mourinho’s men are in confident mood heading into Saturday’s crunch clash in west London.

Speaking to Chelsea’s website, Drobga said: “We have a good lead again – we have kept our distance from Arsenal.

“We have been top of the league since the beginning and now we are waiting for the Manchester United game.

“We are playing at home so we are going to do everything to win it. These are the big games we have to win if we want to be champions.”

The veteran Ivorian forward played the full 90 minutes as Chelsea edged past Queens Park Rangers 1-0 at Loftus Road on Sunday.

The Blues, who have a game in hand over most of their rivals, now need just 11 points from their remaining seven matches to secure the Premier League title.

United head into Saturday’s game in third place in the table and eight points behind the Blues.
