Jack Wilshere: Which Arsenal star is the easiest to play with

Jack Wilshere says that playing alongside Santi Cazorla at Arsenal comes naturally to him

Jack Wilshere has revealed that he feels Santi Cazorla is the easiest player to play alongside in the whole Arsenal squad.

The Spanish playmaker has been in superb form for the north London club in recent months and has been a regular fixture in the heart of the north London side’s midfield.

Cazorla has scored seven goals and made eight assists in 30 Premier League games for Arsenal so far this season to help them up to second place in the table.

And Wilshere says that playing alongside the former Malaga man is easy for any midfielder.

“With Santi it’s easy to play because he understands the game so well,” Wilshere told Arsenal Player.

“If I come inside, he’ll go outside and we’ll link up. Now he’s got more responsibility in the centre of midfield and he’s done brilliantly there over the last few months.

“He’s probably the easiest player to play with.”

Wilshere is back in the Arsenal squad ahead of Saturday’s trip to Burnley after his lengthy spell on the sidelines due to ankle problems.

The 23-year-old midfielder has not featured for the north London club since suffering an ankle injury during the 2-1 loss to Manchester United back at the start of November.
