Jose Mourinho: Arsenal can become Invincible with four signings

Jose Mourinho believes that Arsenal are close to becoming a dominant force in English football once again

Jose Mourinho agrees that Arsenal could become Invincible once again with the right signings this summer.

Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry said this weekend that the Gunners need four big-name signings during the summer transfer window if they are to challenge for the Premier League title next term.

Arsenal have not won the top-flight title since their famous unbeaten triumph back in the 2003-04 season.

However, Chelsea manager Mourinho feels that the north London side are not far away from being serious title contenders.

The Portuguese coach told a news conference this week: “It’s even more difficult to dominate than before.

“How can you speak about domination when everyone knows what will happen next summer?

“Arsenal have a phenomenal squad. Thierry Henry said they need four top-class players but give to Arsenal four top-class players and I think they will again be The Invincibles.”

Mourinho’s Chelsea can clinch their first top-flight title since 2010 with victories over Leicester City and Crystal Palace.

The Blues, who played out a goalless draw at Arsenal on Sunday, are currently 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Mourinho’s side have won seven of their last 10 Premier League games as they close in on the title.
