The Brazilian goalkeeper has been linked with the Reds since the January transfer window after Brendan Rodgers dropped his first-choice shot stopper Simon Mignolet.
The 25-year-old, who moved to Fiorentina from Atletico Paranaense in 2011, has started 25 Serie A games this season, racking up an impressive seven clean sheets.
However, the Reds will have to beat off competition from Ligue 1 champions PSG after Neto’s representative Stefano Castagna claimed that the Champions League quarter-finalists want the South American.
“There are many European clubs interested in Neto, such as for example Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain,” Stefano Castagna is quoted as saying by Gazzetta TV.
“In Spain too there are clubs at the very top level who are tracking him. Real Madrid? We’ll see.
“We have not made a definitive decision, but in any case he will not accept another loan move elsewhere.”
Neto helped Fiorentina ease past Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League last-32 earlier this year, keeping a clean sheet in the Florence leg.
The goalkeeper is yet to receive a call-up to the Brazil senior squad, although he helped his country win an Olympic silver medal at London 2012.
