Man United transfers: Juventus chasing Kevin de Bruyne, says agent
Man United target Kevin de Bruyne agent hints that a move to Serie A champions Juventus could be on the cards
Manchester United are facing competition to sign Kevin de Bruyne after the midfielder’s agent confirmed that Juventus are interested in the Belgium star.
The 23-year-old has been impressive for Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg this season following his £18m move to the German outfit from Chelsea in January 2014.
De Bruyne has scored nine times and has created 17 goals for his team-mates in 28 Bundesliga appearances, which is seven more than the league’s second-highest assist maker Thomas Mueller.
The Red Devils have been linked with a bid for the former Blues man, and the player’s agent Patrick De Koster revealed De Bruyne could be set for a move away from Wolfsburg at the end of the season.
“This could be his last season at Wolfsburg,” De Koster is quoted as saying by talkSPORT.
“Currently the only club we have talked to regarding his future is the German side. His value is higher than £22m, but you can’t take anything for granted in football.”
“There are several interesting teams in Italy, such as Juventus who are a fantastic club.”
De Bruyne made just three appearances for the west London side before he opted to complete a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge last season.
The midfielder was part of the Belgium squad which reached the World Cup quarter-finals last summer.
