Ozil, Morgan and more: Twitter reacts as Arsenal thrash Liverpool
Mesut Ozil and Piers Morgan both tweet their thoughts as Arsenal thrash Liverpool 4-1 to move up to second in the Premier League
Arsenal moved up to second in the Premier League table thanks to a thumping 4-1 win over 10-man Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
The Gunners took the lead in the 37th minute when Hector Bellerin curled home a left-footed shot.
Mesut Ozil then made it 2-0 with a sublime free-kick just two minutes later, before Alexis Sanchez drilled home on the stroke of half-time.
Jordan Henderson pulled a goal back from the penalty spot in the second half but Olivier Giroud’s stunning turn and shot added gloss to the scoreline after Emre Can was shown a second yellow card.
Saturday’s big game prompted plenty of activity on Twitter – and here are some of our favourite post-match updates.
