Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin looks back on a crazy eight months for the Spanish youngster

Hector Bellerin could make his first appearance at Wembley on Saturday just eight months after the full-back watched on as Arsenal lifted the Community Shield.

The Spanish youngster has emerged as Arsene Wenger’s first-choice right-back in recent months, managing to dislodge Calum Chambers from the full-back position.

Bellerin capped an impressive run of form in the Gunners side with his first Premier League goal against Aston Villa in February before he netted against Liverpool in a 4-1 win at The Emirates earlier this month.

The 20-year-old should line up against Reading in the first FA Cup semi-final on Saturday, and Bellerin opted to upload a selfie from Wembley with his team-mates celebrating their Charity Shield triumph in the background.

Bellerin posted the above photo on Instagram as part of ‘Throwback Thursday’ and wrote: “#TBT Wembley at start of this season. A lot has happened in 8 months…”

Bellerin has scored two goals in 22 appearances in all competitions for the north London side.

The Spain Under-21 international joined Arsenal from Barcelona in 2011.
